Automatic watering systems for residential gardens are becoming a bigger part of our business every year from small lawn areas fitted with half a dozen sprinklers to large residential properties with sprinklers and spray heads watering borders and large turfed areas.

At the end of 2002 we started a large residential project in Cambridgeshire working closely with Paul Dracott Garden Designs and Landart Ltd.  The project entailed a complete new design, landscaping and irrigation system to the rear garden areas and was completed mid 2003.

 

The gardens were fitted with a Rainbird system using 5000 & 3504 series pop-up sprinklers to irrigate the lawn areas and 1804 & 1812 pop-up spray heads to irrigate the border and shrub areas.

 The system is controlled by a Rainbird Dialog 16 automatic irrigation controller operating a series of PGA electric solenoid valve fitted with pressure regulators for optimum control of flow and pressure to the heads.
